Leah Carvell

Leah Carvell is an artist who works primarily with photography and found materials, often producing otherworldly and mysterious images. She is interested in how we relate to the spaces around us and in her work she aims to find a starting point from which a narrative unique to the viewer can be unraveled. Recently she has been exploring personal relationships to the ‘screen’ and affinity we sometimes feel with fictional characters and those who portray them.

Leah graduated in 2009 with a degree in Photography and aims to continue her study at postgraduate level in the near future.
