Marilyn Comparetto has recently been involved in an art project with Peace & Art Society, organised by Paulo Duarte Filipe, that was first shown in Portugal. Artists have pulled together an exhibition based on poetry, written by a Japanese poet, that relates to the nuclear reactor disaster in Fukushima. This exhibition was shown in Spain & then along with the Gogyoshi Art Project in January 2016 where it was shown in South Korea.
Marilyn's painting, below, included in this exhibition was created with the following poem in mind written by the Japanese poet:
The cat
Ignorant
As It licks
Cesium rain
On its wet fur.
